I have long believed we might see an EMP or similar event that would fry most semi-conductors on the planet.
We could see destruction of modern life on a scale we cannot even imagine.
The Technology Trap gets tighter with each passing day, it will eventually slam shut.
There are very conflicting opinions about how much an EMP would permanently disable.
