I get it, though, the REAL problem is: should your attorney not be able to iron clad protect it for the conservative children, it all could end up in court and in the pockets of the attorneys instead.
You could skip the generation and split up your lib kids share equally and give it their children.

My parents struggled with this problem because of my mothers family and I struggled with this because of my spouses family. Neither has anything to do with liberal attitude. Both, see wills and testaments as a salad bar to graise at.
Like I said in an earlier post, the best solution is to just spend most of your assets before you check out.
