Is there any way to set up your end of life wishes so that family/ doctors / insurers cannot change or override them?

Set up a trust with an independent trustee (non family member).

We went through the same issues a few years ago, worried about a few liberal members of the family using inheritances for liberal causes we did not agree with.

Bottom line best solution we came up with was to spend most of our assets before we cashed in.

When the lawyer sits down with your lib relative(s) which you have given one dollar, you should put a sentence in there (or do a video) saying something like:

“After years of detailed lectures and multiple conversations with (put relatives name here) you decided to embrace their argument and give their portion of your estate to an organization to help those less fortunate than themselves.”
