KFC used to be good. Then they changed the oil they fry their food in. Probably Olestra.
I remember my son, he was probably 10 at the time, wanted KFC. So I drove to Worcester, the nearest city and got a bucket.
He wound up puking and never ate it again. I didn’t eat any of it.
Chik Fil A is smart in this regard. They use peanut oil. Awesome stuff but don’t over do it.

If I eat friend chicken fast food style it is Popeye’s spicey, but I haven’t ate fast food fried chicken in years due to it being so greasy it runs right through you.
KFC hasn’t been good in decades.
I served my time in the Colonels Army back when they had the BBQ chicken, we made the BBQ chicken in the Pressure cooker that the Original recipe chicken was made in.
KFC BBQ chicken was taken off the menu b/c you couldn’t keep up with the demand...it was so popular due to the shared cooker it was hurting the sales of Original recipe.
It was very good while it lasted!
