I firmly believe my husband has brain damage/memory problems induced by statins. I am a nurse but he never bothered to share his labwork with me assuming the diabetic endocrinologist knew what she was doing since she checked his labs before every visit and continued to prescribe Crestor. I found out happenstance when I had issue with a lab myself and asked to see his, that the dumba$$ dr had his TOTAL CHOLESTEROL at OR below a hundred/100 for 7 years!! Fat/cholesterol is VITAL to proper functioning if our bodies- some vitamins are fat soluble, we fat/cholesterol for hormone production, our brains need fat as does rest of our nervous system. Dr moved out of state- which is good- because she really never wants to ever run into me.
