I remember why I didn’t hire people with closed minds in a dynamic marketplace. Being deaf or blind tends to bind you to what you already think you know, not what might change in an instant before your eyes and ears. The life journey is a series of never-ending decisions. Once over the “target” I tried to alter the belief. If the interviewee didn’t alter, it was my thumbs down for hiring someone to help my company from being successful in the future.
