RE: The only exception I know of was a movie where he’s a doctor living on a lake and his wife gets murdered - turns out he is the killer. I really didn’t care for it - it just didn’t seem right casting him as the bad guy.

What about the heart throb Robert Redford ? I finally saw him as a bad guy in Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Also, the very funny Robin Williams played a creepy bad guy in the movie: One Hour Photo and Insomnia

Right - there are great actors like Jack Nicholson, Jon Voigt or Christopher Walken, who played bad guys as often as good guys - and I was just fine with it.

I guess Harrison Ford was type cast as a good guy for so long it was hard for me to switch gears.

Plus, in movies like the Fugitive and Presumed innocent, the whole plot revolved around him turning out to be innocent - so this one movie (What Lies Beneath) was a bit confusing (at least to me).

Bob Falfa was kind of a bad guy. Not nice like John Milner really was. Harrison as Officer Bob Falfa in "More American Graffiti:"
