A Former NBA Player (Rex Chapman) Was Arrested For Stealing $14,000 Worth Of Apple Products And Reselling Them At A Pawn Shop..
LOL, what a puke. Failed miserably in the NBA and has to rely on his “I was a star at Kentucky” persona for his podcast. Pathetic.
According to the article,
“Chapman reportedly made $22 million over the course of his NBA career (1988 - 2000). He retired in 2000, later serving as vice president of player development for the Denver Nuggets and as a broadcast analyst for CBS and Turner in 2013.”
He earned $22 million in 12 years! That’s equivalent to $36 million today. It boggles my mind when another professional multi-millionaire athlete ends up broke and gets caught committing petty theft.
Maybe all pro sports leagues should mandate all players enroll in and pass classes on basic economics and money management before they are allowed to show up for training camp.
