If she was diagnosed only days ago, she must have had tumors develop over a long time. Sometimes, the symptoms do not make themselves known until very late. You did the right thing to end her suffering. Believe you me, putting a pet down is one of the hardest things I’ve ever EVER had to do in my life.
It was fairly quick. She started to lose her appetite about a month ago. We knew something was up but couldn’t pin it down.

I agree 100%. Have had to do it a few times over 30 years. It’s not ONE of the hardest; it’s THE hardest. You never truly get over it.
