That was a great time to be a Flyers fan. I couldn't even dream of getting Philly, though Hartford, New Haven, Waterbury (CT), and New Britain (CT) all had their own stations. When the networks had nothing to offer, and there was no good sports on, WNEW Metromedia 5 had Merv Griffin, and WPIX Channel 11 had Dinah Shore.
