Am I the only one who enjoys the seasonal heat (at least the Florida sort), and doesn’t find it oppressive? I find I need a break from the AC occasionally. Fell asleep in the sun on the patio after church yesterday for 2.5 hours, and it was absolutely glorious!

No you are not. I like to joke about the heat in Texas but I really don't mind it. And our restaurants are too darn cold here. Always take my light sweater in.

Seems to be popular in Florida too - stores and restaurants seem to like to keep the temperature way down around 70-ish when it's 95+ outside. If you're used to the hot outdoor temperatures, 75 is very comfortable. They don't need to freeze the customers out.

Here in TN, I tend to keep my thermostat at 75 in the day, 73 when I sleep (I still like at least a very light blanket when I sleep). My old yankee habits kick in during the winter, 68-69 in the day time, and down to 62-63 at night.
