Y’all.
I just polished off a delicious Costco filet mignon done to perfection on the infrared grill (charred to a crisp on the outside, tender and delicious inside. I love my Char-Grill!) with roasted Parmesan asparagus and a glass of Taylor Fladgate port. My stereo is shuffling Sammy-era Van Halen, early Pat Benatar, Silversun Pickups and a little Florida Georgia Line. Life is good. Now I’m going to dive into some ice cream.
I thanked Almighty God for such a delicious feast, as well as the ranchers, farmers and grocers who provided it. Hopefully, this time next year I won’t be eating cricket pate.
I have a feeling this will be a very interesting week.
