Good heavens, Petey, you’ve been through the proverbial wringer lately. I cannot fathom what you mean about having to have about an inch cut into your palm - to remove a splint? If my palm was cut into an inch, the blade would come out the back of my hand. Hopefully you meant something else not so gruesome!

Anyway, get better soon - you are missed here!

No, not removing a a splint lol. I am wearing a splint. So the incision runs from the inner wrist lines about 5” to my elbow crease...but inner arm. Then at the wrist lines, she angled an inch into, I don’t know what to call it, the lifeline line? I wonder if she was checking tendons. All the PA had to do was give me a clear answer. So, not an inch into the palm, but like an inch splitting the palm, at that muscle.

Oh...I always tell my dad when he tells me horrible stories about his childhood, “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”

On the plus side, I think I have about a dozen types of splints...so if war or aliens come or zombies...I can be the resident arm person lol
