Knew a person who politely told a judge that given the judiciary’s role in deciding Roe v Wade and repeatedly over the years protecting the ongoing killing of pre born human life that he did not feel that he could feel comfortable being part of any judiciary proceeding and preferred not to serve as a juror. He would do so, no doubt very poorly and in a poor frame of mind, if coerced to serve. The judge excused him.

Nothing wrong with stating the truth. I was once dismissed as a potential juror in a hate crime case when I told the judge that there was no difference between a hate crime and a thought crime.
