The Dentist that shot Cecil The Lion had to go into hiding. The animals they shot were about to die from old age. They pay a fee to shoot them to the Government and the villagers get the meat. Everybody was happy . Then the fools and idiots got wind of the program. And have just about put an end to it.
These same fools that wail and caterwaul at the death of an animal think nothing of murdering an unborn baby in its mother's womb.
