The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.
--US Constitution, Article IV, Section 4

The declaration of invasion by a state government puts the onus on the federal government to react by protecting that state. Failure to do so becomes dereliction of duty. That also constitutes an impeachable offense should a president fail to do his duty.

I can’t make out a lot of it but just before the shot he says “Kare wa dekinai” which means “He can’t do that”

This wasn’t so unexpected.

It’s common in Japan to either have the speaker across the street from the crowd or on top of a vehicle with a megaphone - it seems odd compared to how we do things, but has a lot to do with the limited space and they typically do it in parking lots/roadways as they don’t want to deprive others of the use of the parks, etc

Matthew Ygdumbassoroni illustrates yet another reason that we have a second amendment.

His jab is deadly, but mine weighs 230 grains and acts much faster.

As far as declaring conservatives as enemies of the state, that is already in effect. Simply observe the behavior of the FBI, which part of the DOJ.

Also true during the previous administration(s).

Yep - and TWTR is crashing in the after hours (down about $2.50 or 6.5%) while DWAC (the SPAC that is will merge with TMTG (Truth Social) is rising (up $4.23 or 17.25%)

It does more than that.

Congress is the first branch of government as defined within the Constitution. One of the duties of Congress is to hold the other branches' feet to the fire. If Congress fails to launch impeachment once an obvious violation of the Constitution occurs (invasion), then Congress is in mortal danger from the people.

Nope, it’s a track I found somewhere and played along with. I don’t play piano whatsoever.

said, "These companies are going under. Their jabbed employees are going to be disabled or gone, and they won’t have replacements."

look up "Succession planning." Or employee replacement planing for a coming event
It used to be 37% of companies did an analysis for replacements. Now since covid its up to 64% are looking into replacements of employees from an event.

I meant to, but the phone rang. Sorry about that! :-) Will do so in a minute, and will probably be extremely embarrassed by it.

I blame the Godawful heat in my area for every foul-up I commit.

Dismantle the Washington monument? That can wait. I vote for bulldozing the J. Edger Hoover first.

It’s interesting that today’s Wisconsin Supreme Court decision and last week’s SCOTUS EPA decision both rein in the power of unelected bureaucracy and reaffirm the power of the legislature alone to make law. I wonder if the SCOTUS ruling might stiffen the spine of some state courts.

I’m also wondering whether this decision by the Wisconsin Court can be followed up with a challenge to the 2020 election results. Their ruling has made it much easier for them to make that case.
