I previously resided 40 minutes from Big Basin. I can’t imagine what it looks like now.
Ping
Big Basin was extraordinary. I visited and hiked many times when I lived in Silicon Valley. How many of the Redwoods survived the fire?

Holy Crap, I knew it was bad, but I had no idea it was THAT bad. There's nothing left. Sounds like it will be worth visiting in 100 to 150 years and even better after 1,000 years when the big trees are back. What a shame.
Thank you liberals for effing everything up and making once-nice places unlivable.
