Yes, I acknowledged above that some mainstream outlets did run this story. But they dropped it too soon and did not pursue it with vigor. They glibly went back to covering the woman’s testimony. That is not enough of a follow through on the Secret Service story. It did not erase the woman’s story like it should have.

But the story was refuted the day after it was issued. Those that saw that refutation, mentally logged it. Many who saw the original false story, follow those News Misleadia groups, and saw the refutation.
