Benfotiamine in a form of thiamine that is both fat soluble
AND water soluble - so that it can get to more of the
places/tissues of your body that can benefit from vitamin B1.
(Or that is my understanding of it, anyway.)

I have been taking it daily for about a month, and it does
seem to somewhat relieve the numbness, tingling and occasional
pain of diabetic type 2 neuropathy in my feet.

Since the topic on this thread was B1 (Thiamine) - I thought I'd add my two cents.
