Halsey had a fiery response to fans who left their concert in Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday after the singer gave a passionate speech about abortion rights on stage.
On Monday, the 27-year-old hitmaker - who goes by the pronouns she/they - replied to a follower who tweeted that the 'amount of people' who walked out of Halsey's show at the Ak-Chin Pavilion amphitheater following her remarks was 'sickening'.
'downside of doing outdoor venues: no door to hit them on the way out,' Halsey wrote, adding a hand waving emoji.
In a video from the concert shared by Twitter user @stephxvg, Halsey was seen walking across the stage as she implored her fans to take action after the United States Supreme Court's Friday ruling that overturned the landmark Roe vs. Wade decision on abortion rights.

Never heard of her. Hopefully the ones that walked out asked for a refund. She apparently didn’t consider how her reaction will affect future ticket sales. Does she think she’s the only singer out there for people to spend money on?

Considering that she apparently has been very vocal about abortion, it’s a wonder any pro-life people were there. Perhaps this was just a publicity stunt to get more ticket-buyers after the Maryland concert flooding and squirrel-kicking mayhem (by a guy on stage, not by Halsey).
It is time for a national divorce. I do not want these baby murderers to have any say in voting for elected leaders who then affect my life.

The sheer arrogance on display is mind boggling! She was likely given a healthy paycheck by the venue operator to sing, instead she turned her show it into a platform to express her political views. People in the audience with different views choose to express their views by walking out and she gets all snotty because there are people in the world that think differently than her. I'm guessing the people paying her to sing weren't exactly happy that they now had people lined up demanding refunds...

The Ak-Chin Pavilion amphitheater ain’t in Phoenix or one of Phoenix’s suburbs. Yet
It is located on the Ak-Chin reservation south of the City of Maricopa, southeast of the Metro area in Pinal County.
By the way, That particular reservation is pretty impressive and shows what a small tribe can do when they elect good leadership.

None of the coverage actually estimates the percentage of the audience that left. But clearly, it wasn’t just a few. They wouldn’t be whining about it if it had been less than stunning.
