Name recognition, money and experience.
Walk down Main Street, Anywhere, USA, and ask people if they ever heard of Ron Desantis. Conservatives will know who he is, but the average man on the street is gonna say “Who’s that?”.
On the other hand, the entire world knew who Donald Trump was long before he ran for president and long before he had a tv show. His name has been linked to American success for decades.
Donald Trump is the only MAGA candidate who could spend a billion dollars on his campaign and still be a billionaire. The RINOs will steal the nomination from Desantis, guaranteed. He simply does not have the money or financial support to defeat the RINOs.
Desantis’ experience is good, but it’s limited to the state of Florida.
Trump has proven beyond doubt that he has the experience to be president.
He did more in four years than the previous presidents did in thirty years.
The RINOs are going to keep pushing Desantis to try and break the bond Trump has with the voters.
Not gonna work.
I like Desantis but it has to be Trump in 2024, unless he says he’s not running.

Excellent post! It made me realize something the neverTrumpers aren’t seeing in their lust to divide D.Trump from his supporters....invoking DeSantis as a foil is DE FACTO giving Ron DeSantis the name recognition boost he will need in 2028 to run for President. Something I don’t think they were counting on happening. Not to mention, being a Florida resident and voter, we are NOT giving up our “Best Governor Ever” to the wolves who only want him in the national limelight to destroy him personally. Like they do to ANYONE who
Stands up to them on behalf of the people.
