I think it’s more like without fear of men, rather than pregnancy. Plenty of lesbians ordering from the sperm bank and having kids.

I used to wonder about that, too. Again, I think it’s partly fear of men. A goodly percentage of them were sadly sexually abused as children. Some are afraid of their own feminine bodies and abhor the idea of getting pregnant should some scary man rape them. Again, possibly having to do with childhood abuse of some kind, not necessarily sexual, but sexual abuse most likely to produce such feelings. They are often damaged women, wounded women.
I confess to being rather leery of them, yes prejudiced, as the ones I have been acquainted with could turn vicious on a dime. Some seemed perpetually angry, others always on the verge of gears. Perhaps I am being unfair and have only happened to meet the worst of the lot, or did not realize the more normal ones were lesbians.
First, abortion is unfortunately still legal in most of the country.
Second, the end of the hookup culture would be a wonderful thing.
An interesting take...it’s certainly not the world I experienced as a teen in the ‘80s, hard for me to relate - just a few decades later.
So why did the reversal of Roe vs Wade occur just a few months before the very important mid term elections that nearly everyone is saying the Republicans have in the bag?
The Democrats aren’t shooting to retain their majority in both houses, They want a 2/3 majority in both houses this November. They only recruited 2000 mules two years ago, the number of people willing to cheat and steal for free instead of $20 per vote has just astronomically increased.

I wish it were true. But, between contraception and morning after pills, sluts that engage in a minimum amount of personal responsibility won't have to worry about getting pregnant, although they will have to worry about getting whatever STDs are spreading at any given time.
Well, golly. Such a terrible ruling than. People have to think about the consequences of sex. And golly. All those young women who think it is no big deal to bed every Chad and Tyrone while young and hot because uncommitted frequent sex with drunk randos is so good for their self esteem and ability to form relationships. How will civilization survive?
They act as if it would be a bad thing if the abortion restrictions killed the “hook up” culture.
In fact, their own admission of that shows how the abortion restrictions will be the good they ought to be - helping change behaviors to the good.
Can't speak for "safe" or "legal" because the safety of the unborn was put in mortal danger, I can speak to "rare" though: According to several recent news publications, 1 in 5 pregnancies resulted in terminating the pregnancy murdering the unborn child.
"Rare" was gone long ago.
