I think you are right. A lot of guys were involved in the anti war movement. They didn’t want, so much to get into it, as much as they just wanted to get into women’s pants.
I lived through it, I know what it was. Wearing a uniform in O’hara Airport and getting spit on. Get home, grow your hair long and protest real good and you might get laid. Probably not as good as a LBFM but better than nothing.
