Politics aside ("Shut up and sing!" was the best advice ever offered to these people), I've never seen an audience (I believe it was at the Grammys) more transfixed than they were watching her perform that aerial gymnastics routine while singing whatever her hit was that month. I mean, she was
wayyy up there, performing on a par with the best circus people, and blew everyone away.
I'll never understand why entertainers insist on alienating half their audience by spouting their political views that pretty much no one cares about anyway. Democrat Michael Jordan said it best when asked why he wasn't more political: "Republicans buy shoes, too." Smart man.
