In order to remove an illegitimate government, the military is the only way. Citizens cannot fight with the US military and win. Taking up arms at this point will only bring down the entire weight of the US government on us. Against the British it worked, as regular citizens had the same arms that the British army had, and of course the weight of the British rule in the colonies was as nothing compared to the embedded corruption and might of the current US government. From what I understand, one of the reasons for Q was to prevent plan Z, which apparently is a citizen rebellion against the government; ie civil war. As justified as it might be, it won't work. I am reminded of this quote:
