I guess they figure everyone has a cell phone. I finally got one in March. It was actually cheaper for DH and I each to have a cell phone than to continue paying for a land line and his cell phone.I got my first cell phone in 1990 when I moved aboard my boat. There was no other way to have a phone. To my friends it was a novelty. IIRC, it cost $165 a month plus $1 a minute talk time. ONE DOLLAR PER MINUTE. In those days there was no txt or any other function we take for granted nowadays.
