*** harrumph... go ahead and barge right in ***
stylin/meyer,
Good to see you guys posting. Today marks 2 months of retirement for me. Better than I could have imagined. Youngest son still has one more semester to go, had planned on him being graduated in May, but he had an accident in November, broke his back rather severely. He’s a poster child for the reality that prayers are answered. He’s back in battery, set to graduate in December, and interviewing with SpaceEx/Starlink, though his back will never be the same.
Never heard from the chain of command about the religious exeption. I didn’t get the impression that they agreed with the mandatory jabs and actually think they were relieved that nothing came of it. At any rate they never had a probem with me in the office full time, even when the restriction was 25 percent.
Hope things are well with you and isn’t is good that Q’s back. VR/pat
i’m sorry to read about your son’s back. a nephew fractured his in a rollover in april. he’s headed to stanford due to the pain.
i’ll put your son on my prayer list. chronic pain is bad. i have pretty severe scoliosis, so people say, but i take a small amount of paxil for my back pain. it shuts off the receptors to the brain. i may have to up it after my recent, rather ungraceful fall on the ice lol, and subsequent break and surgery.
!!
Lucky son!
congrats that your retirement is better than you could have imagined.
Mine will get better once my better angel decides to retire.
