My reality check is that I expect to get at least three shots before taking the incoming.
No armor so I need to make those 1st three count.
Love the passion.
We already have young men, that will save you the trouble.
I believe it’s one out of every three miles must straight as a pin. Sometimes they double them up.
Oh, yes, I know.
It’s the local police I don’t trust to do the right thing.
And, I’m not sure the boys in the brown uniforms (sheriff) will take action against the boys in the blue uniforms.

Sad, but true.

Depends on terrain. Ike was educated by the Bocage in France:

He designed the Interstate Highway to not repeat that. As a plus, the unemployed GI’s from WWII and Korea had a job available.

Update!
My dad and I have been talking on the phone everyday this week. He’s in very high spirits, the delirium is gone, and his breathing is normal. Tomorrow, July 2nd, his Covid quarantine will be over and the VA will transfer him to a short-term rehab facility to regain some of his physical strength. All in all, things are looking great!!

Wonderful news.

Oh, No!!! That just reminds me of that tragic boating accident...
Ah, I apologize...my memory is failing, can’t even remember where it was.
And it gave the road runner a lot of territory to run on, and provided traffic control signage and smudge pots to enhance the coyote’s foibles...
Excellent, LJ.
Just realized it wasn’t your dad. Well, good on yer anyways.
Oops, I should have made it clear message was from Chris.
I better stop posting for a while.
The 12 ga is just fine for close work. A gas operated semi auto would be the best choice. I always say gas operated since you can cycle it with one hand, off-hand, with no need to brace it on your shoulder. Sometimes you need the other hand for stuff. Shorter barrels are good where defense is the issue. Extended mags so you can load six or more rounds are good. OO Buck should be your first choice and if you thot you’d get off more than three shots then a bandolier is best for keeping the mag topped off.
And try to keep it out of the lake. You’ll need it before you want to lose it. A few more no-knock raids and you’ll know it’s time. Fill those cinder blocks with something dense.
Both the Chinee purchase and the Bill Gates purchase are in North Dakota.
