IF that is what he is thinking then Durham played himself for a fool. If running out the clock was his goal then he will join Bill Barr in history as a scoundrel and traitor to the Republic, and worse, just another privileged but talentless wastrel. And like Barr he will have taken a high position, a clear opportunity to serve the nation when it was needed most and fiddled. But Rome needed to burn here and nothing burned down at all. The entire rotten edifice stinking of the worm eaten corruption that has destroyed it is still standing.
What history?? It will all be deleted and wiped clean with a cloth. They don’t care about history.
It would be good if these two traitors were affected by history BUT I hardly think that they will care what history thinks of them. They will carry the legacy that they were instrumental in enhancing marxism in the United States. To those who are writing the history books, that puts Barr and Durham in the same category that George Washington used to be in....
In a fair and just America Barr and Durham would both be charged with complicity in insurrection, tried, and hung by the neck after conviction.
