Probably Jill as she appears to be the 21st Century version of Mrs. Woodrow Wilson.

What did those idiot neocons do now to provoke him?

LOL As if invading Ukraine wasn't provocation enough.

One of the more interesting things about the current moment is that we do not really have a President. The senile sock-puppet decides nothing. Which means if the balloon goes up in Europe, the US military will just implement whatever contingency plan it has for the particular action Russia takes and it will proceed from there. Sort of like the train schedules in 1914.

How else are they going to get martial law declared in time for the election, which will have to be entirely conducted by mail-in voting?

Munkypooks, as Tedros calls it.

For the first time in my lifetime I mourn for my country. The ruling yesterday was glorious but it revealed how deep deep our nation is in sin. The media the corporations etc. etc. defying the highest law in the land and our DOJ doing absolutely nothing while the rats terrorist mob terrorize cities. And to top it off our own elected officials in the hill are silent as the grave. It pains me to see that our country has slid off the cliff .... Besides the Almighty nothing can cure what ails this nation. Texas most definitely and desperately needs to secede from the rest of the nation before the cancer or the contamination of liberal Turds completely finish Texas off!

“Supposedly Putin’s grand plan is to merge Belarus with Ukraine and put Yanukovych in charge of the merged territory. Lukashenko is supposed to be livid. And now Putin is taking away all of Belarus’ artillery shells and shipping them back to Russia. So it’s not the best of times between them.”
****************************************************************

This will occur after the planned unification of France and Germany under pressure from Putin. The plan also includes the strict requirement for the Dutch to ONLY wear wooden shoes. /sarc

See…I can do fiction as well as you. But I mark it as such.

What is so urgent for Russia that it can’t wait until the morning?

If Biden asked him to do that, Putin would hang up on his sorry azz.

“The number of people who seem to think that Putin is the most extreme and bloodthirsty member of the Russian government is a monument to ignorance”.

That’s the truth.

Gee, it couldn’t have anything to do with the massive fire raging on the upper floors of Moscow’s tallest building. Pro-Ukrainian media is of course claiming that it was done to give Russia a taste of what they are doing in Ukraine. Pending further info, I suspect those claims are opportunistic, but Putin would want to pin down what happened quickly and stop any similar disasters lest it appear that he’s not in control.

Russia used Belarussian airspace to launch missiles at Ukraine reportedly. This could bring Belarus into the war, which is very unpopular there. That in turn could threaten Lukashenko’s rule there if civil unrest breaks out, and Russia would need to send troops to Belarus to prop him up.

All this is correct and important, but still, why a midnight Kremlin meeting for Russia immediately? What’s so urgent that it can’t wait until morning?
