I am starting to think that the decision leak backfired on the leftists. The decision released today was gratifying, but not the shock it would have been. It was also old news for the left, and also for casual news watchers who are not heavily invested in the issue, kind worn out with it already, and not to impressed with the same ol’ yelling and screaming.
#Reeeeeee!

Same here. I are loving this.
Ding ding ding you “win the internet”! Because the Left has nationalized every single issue, this is going to absolutely destroy Rat candidates in swing states and districts like in AZ - because abortion is once again a STATE issue but Rats only do SF/LA/NYC/DC policy agendas now.
Could it have been a Conservative SCOTUS clerk who leaked it? It was Alito’s opinion after all, and I would presume his clerks would be Conservatives most likely.
By leaking it so early, and letting the impression grow that maybe it could be changed by outside pressure, it was uncertain what was going to be the ultimate decision. The other side was “pre-desensitized” to the overturning of Roe and some of the energy dissipated between the leak and today.
Just a theory.
I think they also don’t like losing to us, no matter the issue.
