Liberal Twitter users have taken to the platform to blast the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg following the court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade on Friday.
While a number of journalist lay the blame at former President Trump who got to appoint three conservative justices during his time in the White House, things took a surprising turn when attention shifted to RBG.
Several users saw it fit to blame the late Supreme Court Justice for the court's landmark decision on abortion with some suggesting that had she decided to step down sooner while President Obama was in office, she would have been replaced in turn with a liberal justice.
When Ginsburg died in September of 2020 at the age of 87 her vacancy allowed Trump to nominate conservative Justice Amy Coney Barrett to take her place.
Scott Feinberg, a columnist for the Hollywood Reporter described Ginsburg as 'hero' whose decision not to retire 'helped lead to the destruction' of Roe v. Wade.
'RBG was a hero for many reasons. But the terrible irony is that her decision to stay too long at the party helped lead to the destruction of one of the things she cared about the most. Sadly, this will be a big part of her legacy,' he tweeted.
Podcaster and comedian Katie Halper saw fit to mock RBG with a sarcastic tweet.
'So glad RBG kept planking instead of retiring from the Supreme Court,' she wrote together with a picture of Justice Ginsburg planking.

The incredible illogic of Roe vs Wade bites in many ways. They simply couldn’t get abortion though society in any other way, so they forced it through a very liberal SCOTUS. People now are mostly unware even RBG thought it was a mess. She probably still would have voted for it though, which is a very sad and sorry thought. This is why there is no such thing as a principled liberal.
When you come down to the roots of the philosophical leftist decision making, they simply can’t come up decent law. They have to grind together a mess of feelings and wishes what they want the Constitution to be. I’m too lazy to check, but I think I remember her saying it was bad law.

Coffee, must stop posting before coffee intake!

What’s great about this is that baby-killer RBG is still rotting in hell in the afterlife, while losing her pristine image with the Left in the natural world.
Ruthie went from leftist goddess heroine to a despised scapegoat of blame with the flip of their precious ‘Roe v Wade’. No honor among the purveyors of unholy baby killing.
This is why President Trump was a blessing. He promised the SC, and he delivered.
Beautiful!
Sure. Go after the dead lady, that’ll reverse all the “wrong” Supreme Court decisions.
Roe v. Wade was bad law when it was first made into the governing factor in regards to abortion. Even RBG said so, on occasion.
They all thought Hillary would win in 2016 and appoint RBG’s replacement.
In this case the logic is sound. RBG had made a spectacle of herself and should have retired during the Obama years for several good reasons. From a leftist point of view, they never thought Trump was a threat, so they didn’t push her at the time; but as the writer says, It is true she stayed too long, and but for her lingering on into Trump’s term, she would have been replaced by a proabort, like even Garland god forbid.
Yes RBG said Roe was bad law, but she only acknowledged that because she assumed, as they all did, that it would be on the books forever. Surprise, surprise, Ruth.
The same thing they are saying about RBG applies to lots of national leaders at this point. Pelosi and Biden belong in nursing homes, not running the country.
Yep. And the libs haven’t figured out yet with the red wave coming, the impact of overturning Roe v Wade, will see more states outlawing abortions. Since this is now a state issue, the legislatures will be ginning up more restrictions after the mid terms.
yep yep! Also Hillarys fault for running such a bad campaign and losing, Bill’s fault for being who he is and turning off voters, God worked all things to get to this point. Too bad Scalia couldnt have been around to write the opinion
Now I wonder if RBG was a little racist, maybe didn’t care fir obummer. Hmmmmm🧐🧐🧐
Yes, indeed. All the D’s were sure Hillary would win as they believed their flawed polls. I suspect RBG foresaw having the first female President appointing her successor (she was after all very much a radical feminist.). So not only did their belief in their pools contribute to this wonderful Conservative Court’s decision, but it also showed the D’s exactly where and how much they would have to cheat to win in 2020 !
I believe Hellry knew she would "win" with help from DNC/Communist party voter fraud.
Simply put, the fraud was not great enough to 'win"...and why she was insanely pissed on election night.

Thanks Ruth! Thanks for hanging in there until Trump got in office. You’ve finally done something good for the country.
It is shocking how few people even know the true evil that Margaret Sanger stood for and the horrors she inflicted on minorities around the world.
