I think the biggest issue is that women like Denise, who, the world quite frankly only cared about because they were hot, have no need to build anything beyond that. Their looks got them so much in life, and so they can’t let it go, even at an advanced age. They never were compelled by circumstance to adjust and develop other parts of themselves; at least nothing that overrides their looks.
I see this time and time again with the Hollywood and pop stars; it seems every other day I have to see an article of 50-something Elizabeth Hurley ‘rocking’ a bikini in a selfie. Or 60-something Madonna, ugh. They still gonna be doing this crap in their 80s?
