Another trend pushed by the youngsters is the use of the word, than, to say that one thing in a non-mathematical context is different from another. Than implies a quantifier that is missing in such sentences (more, etc.). “Duh, he’s more different than the other guy.”

Another yet... “She ran him over.” I ask, “She ran him over what? Oh, the moron is trying to say that she ran over him! She didn’t run him over the top of something else.”
