Never saw the PBS show but watched McLaughlin Group. He was the old days liberal type who would accept some things about the other side, sometimes. I remember him kidding the emotional Bob Novak by calling to a stagehand to get Novak his meds-—make that right now. Now both are gone.
I liked Jack Germond a lot better, he was a real reporter, like Robert Novak and his partner Rollie Evans.
