They’re not connected in that they aren’t identical methods. They are connected in that the same organizers implemented both.
The fraud of the drop-box mules, and stolen votes at nursing homes, etc., was supposed to have been enough to effect a cheated “win”. The shut-down of counting, and infusion of hundreds of thousands of ballots was their their contingency plan in case the mules weren’t enough.
Same s—t, same people, different method.

If the late election night shenanigans was a contingency plan, when was it hatched?
Why use mules if you can create votes wholesale? Aren’t mules dangerous?
Were the late night shenanigans invented on the spot? Would you leave something so important to the last minute? Or was this planned ahead of time?
Who paid for the mules? The shenanigans?
