I’m with a fair tax at this stage of our country. When I started working at 16, in 1976 minimum wage was $2.30. Michigan now is $9.87. In 2011, it was $7.40.
So in 46 years, minimum wage went from 2.30 t0 9.87. $7.57 increase.
Corrected for inflation ... $2.30 in 1976 is $11.49 now. Also, $7.40 in 2011 is $9.72 now.
