I read some of it. At this point people have their minds made up about Donald Trump. A detailed analysis is not required.

Not accurate. Trump automatically launches a response to anyone who attacks him first. He is sort of rules-based in that regard.
I see Trump as mocking and eviscerating people BEFORE he is openly attacked.
Burning bridges is a constant with him.
