There needs to be a major effort to vote the RINOs out in the primaries. At every level of government.
The real problem is the GOP itself. Its culture, weakness, and indeed the party’s very DNA are one of unprincipled appeasement. The sole purpose of the GOP’s various organizations is to manage and control its politicians. Trust me, the party is very good at this and it has a long and ‘successful’ track record of flipping newly elected people. Just look at what happened to the Tea Party candidates.
Its a pipe dream to think we can get rid of the RINOs because the party can create faster than we can remove them.
We need a REAL party that stands for something and is willing to fight for it. The election is coming up soon and, while its worth the effort to get rid of the incumbent RINO’s, its not going to materially change the party itself.
The GOP is what it is IMO. They have earned the derisive labels (Uniparty, Assistant Democrats, Gutless Old Party, etc.) because that is essentially what they are.
A year from now we’ll all be disappointed in the GOP’s failure/refusal to advance the conservative agenda. Yet again.
