I meant an AI program is made to learn and adjust. It will do things the programmers didn't code in. When it encounters a new situation it can essentially write its own code to deal with it. It may even seem to make human-like decisions. That's the "advanced original" part.
Kinda like raising your kids with certain guidelines. At some point they make their own decisions using those guidelines even if they come up with a different answer than you might have.
An AI will always be a program. No soul involved. Anyway, that's how I see it.
I’m shocked that you would see any similarity at all with raising children and the programming of AI. Although you say that AI will write its own code when it encounters a situation it can’t deal with, get back to me when the AI decides to pray to God for resolution of its problem.
