I see nothing to dispute here at all. And, I’ve always thought that perhaps, if the military is obliged to come in and institute a modified form of martial law (including a new election), they could easily still maintain our Constitutional form of government, but with the proviso of re-starting the four-year Presidential clock from the date of the new election.
You’d be a great legal brief-writer. And I say that as one who works for a bunch of attorneys for a living! :-)
