Actually propane is really safe. If you shoot a tank nothing will happen except you will lose your propane.
I like propane because YOU are responsible for it, not a crew of idiots. I don’t have to worry about a crew of ‘tards down at the corner working on the lines and blowing up my house like with natural gas lines. And! Check this out. A map of all the natural gas leaks in MA.
