You gotta die of something. I eat fish at least 4 or 5 times a week...fish and chips with a big side of green salad is a favorite (the Scottish make the best). Ate fish sandwiches for as long as I can remember.

This reminds me of my yoga instructor’s story. Her mom, a black woman from rural Mississippi, ate pork all the time. They raised and slaughtered their own hogs as they have done for hundreds of years.

Then at the age of 90 the doctor told her she had to give up bacon and pork because of high cholesterol. She went without for two weeks, then decided she would rather die happy than die “healthy”. Back to the pork.

She lived until she was 98.

Doctors are certainly a necessity, but on telling us what to eat and drink, for the most part, they don’t know…
I like baked cod over breaded, and will continue to eat it as much as I want.
I will drink a gallon of milk a day, if I could. I love milk. I’m lactose intolerant, so I buy the lactose free stuff, whole, NOT skimmed or fat free. It’s just not the same. I’m almost 68, I’ve made it this far with God’s help (and the doctors!)
No reason to change.🙂

I have over a hundred cans of Sardines from Costco. It’s a great quick lunch and disgustingly healthy. I add plain yellow mustard (zero calories) and turmaric powder. And a little apple cider vinegar.
