Given her era, it’s possible. :^) But I think the Hapsburgs were known for receding chins, due to generations of consanguineous marriages.

Looks almost exactly like my babysitter, except younger. Agnes was a Czechoslovakian old lady who lived next door. A WW1 war bride, so about 75 when I was young. My parents trusted her to give me a good swatting when I had it coming; she also taught me how to pan-fry a steak to perfection and use a spinning wheel. Brilliant gardener, she knew the local legend Luther Burbank and had more than a few cuttings, including an apple tree with 8 varieties grafted onto it.
Same face, same BIG hands.

"But I think the Hapsburgs were known for receding chins, due to generations of consanguineous marriages." To the contrary, they were known for pronounced chins as a result of generations of intermarriage...

You may have been thinking of the British aristocracy.
Noun chinless wonder (plural chinless wonders) (Britain, derogatory) An ineffectual upper-class man, typically dim-witted and of a weak or indecisive character, frequently one who gained his position through nepotism or social connections.
