I have a RARE non-remaindered copy of Michael Fumento’s seminal work (no pun intended, spelling’s different anyway) “The Myth of Heterosexual AIDS.”
The publisher was FORCED to call back all remaining copies having been threatened by gangs of vicious radical homosexuals who took over their offices in San Fransyphco and elsewhere who DEMANDED the book be taken off the market as lies, disinforation, misinformation, HATE speech (mind you, this was nearly 30 years ago... today they’d set the building on fire and CNN would report it as a mostly peaceful protest).
I’ve read it. It’s well-referenced, it’s REPORTING, not scientific review, although there is a bit of conjecture (people - subvocalizing subgenius public education victims - STILL argue if HIV/AIDS is caused by the HTLV-III virus, jet trails, fluoride in the water or vaccine “toxins” in general).
What he wrote then is still true today.
I’ve worked in drug/alcohol depency clinics as a supervisor, resident, med student in my career and it’s NOT unusual to hear stories from homosexual males (I do NOT use nor advocate the misleading term “men who have sex with men” as ANY sex between same-sex individuals is, by definition, homosexual. QED) who go regularly to bathhouses and “zoo sex” parties over a weekend, get coked/MDMA/meth’d up and have some kind of sex with upwards of HUNDREDS of other men.
I’ve sat in on innumerable group therapy sessions where those guys ruminate on those events to the point of bragging.
The Al Pacino film “Cruisin’” showed some of this activity in glory hole/zoo sex bars in SFO back in what, 1984?
It’s nearly 40 decades of HIV/AIDS later (about a quarter to Armageddon time) and that “community” hasn’t learned to say no to raves, glory holes, zoo sex, random sexual contact “well, I WEAR condoms, and I TAKE the latest HIV preventive medicine so I’m safe” never mind the dozen some-odd STD’s that can and do sneak around latex and pharmaceuticals and nihilistic naivete.
I’ve seen reports showing the AVERAGE lifetime sexual contact of homosexual males is upwards of 300 other men; among “monogamous” relationships it’s still in the mid 100’s. Forgiveness for “stepping out” is yuge in that community (or petri dish, depends how one looks at it).
I don’t celebrate “pride,” nor any other deadly sin.
Monkeypox has been known for nearly 100 years, the virus isolated in 1958, it’s readily spread through the “exotic pet trade” by Gambian rats, some monkeys, and lately, sadly, horrifically for anyone who still uses GYM equipment or sits on public toilet seats (long story there but yes, you CAN catch all manner of std’s from public toilet seats), monkeypox is THE new “Gay Plague”.
