A female news anchor wonders why hordes of men didn't rush to defend a woman from harassment on the New York subway.
On May 28, Sky News Australia posted a video titled "New York bearing signs of 'societal decay.'" The video shows a man (who seems as if he is on drugs) entering a train car and sitting next to a young woman. He then touches her without consent, grabs her, drags her around a bit, and generally is an extremely unpleasant nuisance. He eventually leaves her alone and proceeds to try to kick out one of the windows.
During the video, the young woman is seen looking at other passengers, with obvious worry in her eyes, begging somebody to please "help me." Nobody tries to help her. The news anchor, Rita Panahi, asks the question, "Where are the men?"
If I had to guess, they were standing in their place, checking their male privilege, toning down their toxic masculinity, and coping with how their Time's Up. Perhaps the men wanted a demonstration of how women are actually the stronger sex. Perhaps the threat level just did not seem that high to them; New York has a duty to retreat, after all. Besides, New York has been in the habit of arresting those who defend themselves.
Most likely, the men who were on the train did not care about this woman. They did not know her and were not likely to ever get to know her. How could it be worth it for these men to possibly be killed or maimed (it is unknown if the aggressor had a knife) for the sake of someone who may as well not exist to them?

History is full of these moments, where the men disappear into the shadows in a dark time. If they sense the risk is too high, they will step away.
If a leader steps up and grabs mens’ hearts, they will rise up.
If a white or latino man helped to defend the girl by knocking the black guy on the floor, guess who that new mayor would be defending and making excuses for? This is probably someone with a long list of similar offenses who never gets sent to jail.
I’m a millennial. I know a lot of...I choke up trying to call them “men”...in my age range who, close up, look like they need to shave only 2-3 times a week; their voices are squeaky or high-pitched; they haven’t any muscle tone; they are scared of their own shadows, and act like they’ve been raised by two mothers. And this is in redneck country, PA. Older men around here are hairy, beefy, and their voices are good and deep; they’re tough as old shoes and flirt outrageously. What’s going on? Do men need decades to develop testosterone saturation, sufficient to grow hair and gristle? Or is there something in the water and these younger guys will never turn into proper men?

I have noticed the same thing. And I am being serious. Something is wrong, like you, I am starting to think its hormones in the water and food.
I have heard of so many cases where students get in trouble for defending themselves from bullies at school. And forget taking it out on the schoolyard—actual fighting?
So the schools teach the kids to remain victims, to never, ever fight back, and this is where we end up.
It is a sad state of affairs that you even have to make that statement openly to make your valid point, and sadder that the Left has succeeded in making many men care only for their own personal affair and nothing more.
It isn’t an accident that the Left has focused on destroying men and masculinity, and it isn’t an accident that I explicitly singled out men who “care for their own personal affair and nothing more” in the preceding paragraph.
The Left fully understands that strong men are an impediment to their tyranny.
That has been just one of the goals of the Left, to divide people up into small groups, whittling society down into small tribes of family and friends, where there is no societal cohesion and people are only concerned about what happens to themselves.
When that happens (and is now apparently a reality) these small groups of self-centered “nobody else counts” groups will be destroyed one by one, because there is nothing beyond a tiny group that will come to their aid when they are attacked.
Sad. The Left has succeeded in this brilliantly to the point there are people who think they are somehow winning by pulling into a shell, which is what they want. The Left is all about Tribalism, small groups who care only for themselves.
Surely not E Pluribus Unum, many become one.
It is Ex uno, multis, where one becomes many.
And that is the goal of the Left.
They cannot destroy and conquer us when many of us become one. But it is no problem for them if one of us become many, which is Tribalism, the result of trying to retreat into your small group of family and friends for “safety”.
In life, you are one of three things, I have been told: A Wolf. A Sheep. Or a Sheepdog.
The job of a Sheepdog is to care for all sheep, not just those in your immediate herd.
And that is because a Wolf is an indiscriminate enemy. If you don’t care that a Wolf is attacking the nearby herd because “it isn’t YOUR herd”, then you aren’t a Sheepdog, because YOUR herd is ALWAYS going to be next.
And it boils down to this: If you aren’t a Sheepdog, you are either a Wolf or a Sheep. There is no other choice.
And many, including some on this very forum, have made the choice to be a Sheep, even if they want to appear to wear the skin of a Sheepdog.
And in that, they become the unwitting allies of the Wolves, and in their own self justifying mode, will eventually become Wolves themselves.

Feminism has beaten the life out of chivalry, and Good Samaritans get punished. And it’s a near certainty that there were no CCW holders on the subway.
In a sense, it is “in the water and food”.
Water and food are things we must partake of somewhat communally. All water comes from the sky in a sense, and all food is derived from the earth.
In our world, the Left has taken control of things that have historically been somewhat communal: Education, Media, Entertainment, and now...Technology and Information.
And they have been busy. Oh, how busy. Over the last seventy years or so, they have been like termites, gathering the control of those things under their wings, and chewing them to pieces, using their own Leftist saliva to cement things back into place in their own world view, building a new “foundation”.
A foundation where men are weak, meek, and subservient, masculinity is considered toxic, homosexuality is open and normalized, people are pushed further and further into their own circle cutting them off from their neighbors and societal support, and those small circles are pitted against each other, making them all weaker in the process, where the collective becomes the most important thing.
THEIR collective.
THEIR “collective” is a top down organization, and toxic to personal freedom, unlike OUR “collective”, which is from the bottom up, and values that personal freedom.
And they have been, with successive generations, the providers of the “food” and “water” that all of us, not just impressionable youngsters like Greta Thunberg and her ilk, who lap it up and become part of their militant and woke “collective”.
Divide and conquer.
A tactic as old as warfare itself.
It breaks my heart to see just how successful they have been, and the victims of their malevolence have somehow been blinded to the obviousness of it.
The Sheepdog no longer protects those Sheep exposed for their collaboration with the Wolf to remove the Sheepdog. You're also assuming this woman on the train can only be a sheep. She's an adult who could buy a firearm like Bernie Goetz did and use it as she saw fit. "A Liberal is a Conservative who hasn't been mugged yet."
Our country was founded by great men who departed Europe and the European mindset. They didn't try to "fix" it.
The Left are those of a matriarchal society and wish to force it on others. The Matriarchy is not to be trusted. The last two years have exposed the millions of people who embrace government mommy telling them how to think and behave instead of being an adult and thinking for themselves. We have an obligation to let them grow up because coddling and allowing a state or perpetual adolescence spawns fools and deadly policies.
Let’s also look at the women. Are they worth saving? Their behaviors-their smartphone addiction, their quickness to demonize normal male behavior, and their obesity-are driving women away from them.

Yes. A foundational tenet of the Left: Violence is never the answer to anything.
They preach that violence is NEVER the answer, inculcate it into brains of mush, brains of mush that somehow fail to register that the Leftist invocation to refrain from violence is a one-way-ratchet meant only to apply to their enemies, and not to them.
That is a cleavage point between Leftism and Conservatism.
Conservatives know full well that sometimes, violence is the only answer, and the appropriate one.
(Leftists know this too, that violence is sometimes an appropriate response, but...they don’t want their victims to THINK they do.)
