1/2 Fact: Russia is winning its war in Ukraine
It’s not our war
As I said 3 months ago, we should have stayed out of it and pushed for a quick negotiated peace taking into account Russia’s fear of NATO encirclement
Sending arms is only prolonging the killing and suffering
2/2 Sanctions have hurt Europe and world more than Russia
Russia is creating anti-West bloc with China, India and other emerging countries detrimental to Western interests
Canada’s virtue-signalling is irrelevant
West with its reckless leaders is shooting itself in the foot
Great points, by this Maxine.
I saw a graph showing how interest in Ukraine has dropped to practically zero.
Folks are finally catching on, and, up.
Good morning, Gran!
Maxine Bernier has been solid on every issue, right from the get-go. I voted for him (PPC) last time around and hope to do it again. If he was the Prime Minister of Canada, we’d have a completely different country. Trump and Bernier would be a solid alliance.
Just noticed that tweeters name is Maxime….not Maxine, like crazy, old Maxine. Makes since why she’s making sense ;-)
Time for more covfefe.
Well - yeah....
But then the politicians wouldn't have created demand for replacements to be manufactured.
And then there wouldn't be new government money spent to procure those replacement weapons.
And then there wouldn't be new money for more kickbacks from the weapons manufacturers to the politicians.
SERVANT OF THE CORRUPT
The Big Lie
The war has completely reinvented Zelensky, thus saving his scandal-plagued presidency marked by broken promises. As a Kyiv International Institute of Sociology poll showed, just 24 percent of voters supported him in late January. But now, thanks to the West’s embracement of the actor’s new persona which often places him beyond reproach, Zelensky has become the recipient of unqualified adoration and enormous amounts of international aid money. “Before the war the U.S. was sending $300 million per year to Ukraine,” said to NPR Mark Cancian, a senior adviser at the Center for International and Strategic Studies. Now, we’re providing $100 million a day to what was until recently considered “the most corrupt nation in Europe.“
As of today, the United States government alone is on track to deliver more than $50 billion in total aid to Ukraine. For comparison, the Department of Homeland Security estimated that Trump’s proposed border wall would cost roughly $21.6 billion. Republicans in particular, spent the first two years of Trump’s term resisting his efforts to fund and build the wall, before reluctantly agreeing to support just a fraction of what they approved for Ukraine at the drop of a hat, even challenging the patriotism of their critics.

Instead we sent Kamala Harris to give a speech in Poland in which she implied that Ukraine would be getting into NATO. Within days Russia invaded Ukraine.
