We women in the family had a conversation about it. I started it, just to explain that abortion wasn’t banned, it just went back to the states because that’s how a republic works. My granddaughter in California said it was basic healthcare and women would just go back to back ally abortions. The one in Dallas, who is going to university in Arkansas, doesn’t understand why there’s no exception for rape here.
At least they all agreed that abortion isn’t something that should be celebrated, women should avoid getting pregnant in the 1st place, and the one in California thought it should be limited to 1st trimester.
My younger daughter didn’t chime in because she thinks abortion is wrong under almost any circumstance, but my DIL did reason that it’s not healthcare, etc.
I’m glad your granddaughters don’t think it should be celebrated. I think they are all pretty smart, and not being brainwashed that much by their peers. It’s hard to be in California and still be able to think reasonably, lol!
