My son helped me move back to Texas. The Uhaul truck just had enough room for two people, so had to put my 2 cats in my car we were hauling. Kept windows open, and shaded, but poor kitties were still so hot. In Arizona, I got a 5 lb bag of ice and and an extra bag, put 1 bag in each of their cages, and they were so happy to sit by them. Got new bags in New Mexico.
Poor kitties! Glad you were able to ice them down....for the AZ-TX stretch.
