I don’t think I’ve ever eaten rhubarb, is it good with sweets?
Rhubarb is pretty sour, but nothing a pile of brown sugar won’t take care of! Most pies I add about a cup of brown sugar (only 1/2 cup for pecan pie), but rhubarb pie needs 1 1/2 to 2 cups, depending on size of pie. But it sure is good. Unlike most, I don’t like the strawberry rhubarb pie. Just plain rhubarb. And for a very delicious square, look up Rhubarb Dream Bars. Yum city.
